bit heavy but great fun, 2 Dec 2009

this is superb for any child,or grown up aa i have had a few goes and im a 31 yr old mother. hours of fun once you have mastered how to use it which can be tricky, so wear pads as lots of tumbles and falls, it is quite heavy, only negative issue.

Bought RipStik for my 14 year old son's Christmas. He had already used a RipStik and was keen to have one of his own. All friends and family who have tried it really enjoy using it. Found it easy once they got the hang of it, but it does take practice. A good sense of balance is an advantage. Overall impression - cool gift! Access to flat surface is a must!

The rip-stick is one of those things where you will buy it, have a go and can't do it. Walk away and not go on it until you see it and finally get to know it. i had a go on my friends one, couldn't do it so therfore thought it was rubbish. but when i had gone on it for more than 1/2 hour. it was GREAT FUN. when you do it you get so addicted and can't stop. a great product which certainly isn't a 5-minute-wonder. Great

I have to say that this kitchen is looks fantastic in the picture until you get it home!! The oven is not even big enough to get more than 2 pieces of plastic food in it let alone a baking tray or pan as per my daughter's old kitchen. Same with the Fridge freezer, we purchased milk, eggs & orange juice to go in it and they can't all fit in. It is much smaller than you think.

also be aware that all 4 items in the kitchen are not fixed together they are individual units so you are continually tidying them up!!!

Not good value for money at all compared with other kitchens ie. Tefal ones that are on the market. I am very disappointed that we bought this item.

I bought one with a pink picture and received a blue one. but the blue is ok for boy or a girl and has a silver sparkle flek throughout, the kitchen is stunning, really good value for money as i got it for [...]
I love it its really sturdy and has some lovely features. my daughter will love it and as its blue my son wont mind playing along.

Well built, shame about the wheels, 16 Nov 2011

Overall a decent scooter which looks great and takes a good hammering!

However the wheels supplied are dreadful. After only a couple of weeks they started squeaking, then only after some light tricks the wheels split. I notified Slamm to the problems and they could only respond by sending me a copy of their guarantee which basically says that wheels are only covered for 30 days!
Given this however wheels are cheap to replace so if you go for this scooter get some replacement wheels. I got some better quality wheels made by Blaze for only £3.95 each, just needed to swap the bearings over.

So a good scooter which keeps my boy happy down the local skatepark with his buddies, but change those wheels!!

Scooter was delivered ahead of schedule. When building scooter, the bolts which lock the handles to the stem would not tighten as the weld joint was in the way. Luckily I was able to retap (thread) the holes to allow the bolts to tighten. I did have a very disappointed birthday boy as he could not use his scooter on the day of his birthday. Now it it fixed, he loves his scooter - well built and even with this issue would recommend to anyone to buy.

Bought this for my 13 yr old son who is into extreme scootering at the local skate park. Therefore I'm best describing it in his words "Dad, this is awesome". He has managed to wreck 2 other scooters because although they were described as tough, they just were not man enough for the job. The slamm scooter however is just the opposite. It is strong, robust and perfectly suited for the hammering it will doubtless going to be given. Not only that it looks pretty good too.

I ordered this lego pack for my son of 11 yrs old. He couldnt wait to open the package which arrived earlier than expected. Hes been building the whitecap bay from scratch himself. I thought he would get bored, but no, hes loving every minute of it. Good for concentration and following easy instructions on 2 booklets, and of course hours of fun after build. GREAT.
